Is it possible to transfer data from an old video camera to computer ?
I have an old SONY video camera that records on to small video tapes. I was wondering if threre is a cable I can buy in order to connect my camera to a computer and make old films digital. If it is possible please let me know what I should do? Thank you id advance.

Your Video must have Video RCA cable(with red/white and yello outputs which u connect it to TV(.if u dont have buy around $3.5 from ebay

You will need good capture card which will go to your PC, like pinnacle or dazzle

specific. Get a RCA to USB adapter. There are diverse utility classes which you could use to allow you to work out and record those old VHS tapes. And doing this on a working laptop or computer will definitely be plenty extra effective than attempting to get considered one of those VHS/DVD gamers to burn the video.

what kind of cable, if it has firewire you can look for a firewire-usb cables
but if you don't check if you have a VIVO (video in video out) graphic card, it should have a video in and out jack.
and of course a video editing program that could capture your video, such as Pinnacle, Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere
Sounds like you got a VHS-C tape, well you need an VHS-C adapter, and a video converter box...how about your compuer, does it have any capturing capabilities? if not, you will need to install a card
