  • A is excellent

    B is good

    C is average

    D is below average

    F is failing

Fact: A letter grade is the same thing concerning grade point averages, if a C counts as a 2.0 then it counts as 2.0 be it + or -

  • Not sure about the second part of the question about the minus sign but........ A C- isn't a bad grade if you were trying your best. Hey the term for a C is average. So you are fine. Don't worry, just do your best and if you need help you can go to your guidance counselor and then they can have a tutor help you. Hope that helps. ; )

  • It is a below avarage grade (C is average)

The minus, and pluses are almost like a third of a grade (i.e B+ is just above a B, B- is just below a B)

Good news is, is that you ARE passing

  • In the same boat. I got a 62 (C-) last term. In my class it's low, but whatever, it's math. It may not be your strong subject. Just try your best, and be happy with the marks you get. Although, my mark is probably in the 50s now.

  • it's ok if you have like a 77, 78, 79, but 80 and above is where u want to get.

  • A "C" grade is average. A "C" would be a few points below average.

  • no it doesn't count. Your just an average student. Like i was. Now i make a's and b's

  • a c- is a passing grade. its not a a good. some may consider it a good grade. really depends on how you look at.

  • no. C is a great grade. be happy you got a passing grade. instead of a F or D.

  • C is an average grade. try boosting it up
