some people say they just hear a pop and nothing else. im asking this because i would see NFL players get them and just walk off like if thinking "not this again"
Having injured the ligaments in my knee before, I can tell you that it really hurts! It's not an "oh this again" sort of pain, it's a "holy cr@p! that really hurts" pain.

It depends, if you tear your MCL along with it ... it really hurts. If it is just an ACL there isn't much pain, just a lot of sounds.
It just really sucks.

As you can see, he can feel a lot of pain.
No they feel great, I usually try to tear one about every 10 months or so because I love the feeling.
