How can you transfer Ubuntu 10.04 onto a newer SSD?

Is it possible to transfer a backed up Ubuntu/ 8GB SSD, to a newer SSD?

I'm replacing the 8GB SSD, with a Runcore 64GB... can I back up the OS and move it to the newer drive?

Ubuntu 10.04

8GB SSD > to 64GB SSD

    Yes, use CloneZilla to save it to an external hard drive and then restore the saved image to the new SSD.

    CloneZilla can clone a smaller image to a larger driver but not vice versa.
