Silicone vs Plastic vs TPC PHONE CASE?

im getting an iphone 4s (save $ instead of buying the 5) and I want to know which is better for protection?

I've had a silicone on my ipod touch for as long as i've had it and it's taken some pretty nasty falls on tile and concrete, but i'm wondering if plastic is better. the problem with silicone is it is hard to slide in/out of your pocket and gets fuzz stuck to it and eventually rips.

i feel like plastic wouldnt really offer shock absorption and could possibly scratch it.

OR should i get the TCP? i think it has a soft inside for shock and a plastic outside? but theyre expensive i think..

any suggestions?

    Get an otterbox defender series, hands down. On Amazon it is $20. Also, if you are in Tampa there is a $75 off deal at the citrus park Sprint store, so it would be the iPhone 4S would be $25.

    Silicone hands down. If you can get an otterbox. Silicone may not be as pretty but hard breaks to damn much
