Dragons Dogma.. How do I know if its a main quest or side quest?

I don't wanna rush into the story. I'm worried that the quests ive been doing maybe be main quests, but i don't wanna play them so soon. So can u please tell me how do i know if its a main quest or side quest? I've been doing the Dukes quests, are those main quests? Plus can u tell me where exactly are main quests located? Please answer fast. Thanks in advance:)

    All quests offered by the duke are main quests. Quests from the pawn guild or bulletin boards or random npcs are side quests. Ill look up your pawn, mine is currently too weak to help you
