All of the other answers are wrong in the verb tense, sorry, but what you are writting is not in future nor in simple present, and one was close, but does not make sense in English... ok, so what it means is: you can get burned, more info of what was said previously may be needed because it sounds like an advice like saying... IF you do that, you can get burned...
For the sun of a #=$#" you really can't be that naive to write it, it's very rude, hope you can avoid it in the future, thanks.
I will confirm something you already know at this point:
It doesn't make sense in spanish (I'm mexican, native spanish speaker).
I think the guy said was:
"NO te vayas a quemar hijo de puta"
wich means "don't get burn son of a b...."
The tense doesn't have to be the same in spanish as in english, this is the translation of the "idea" (what matters, not the words). I'm pretty sure it is NOT offensive, since it is a way to call buddies, although it could sound to rough to some people. In my oppinion, it is friendly, but we should know the whole context to be sure.
It doesn't make sense. If you would've said, "no te vayas a quemar hija de puta" it means, "don't burn yourself son of a b***" but if you would've said, "vete a quemar hijo de puta" it would mean, "go burn yourself son of a b***" so I think that you forgot to put the "no" in "no te vayas a quemar hijo de puta" - "don't burn yourself son of a b***"
Yep, what they all said above me. Sounds like someone wants to see your aas smokin. What did you do to have someone this mad at you? A little advice: Watch your back.

Hijo De Puta Meaning

I agree with Oro Rubi. 99 percent of the answers for your question are wrong. Also you are wrong.
You are missing part of your question.
Te vayas a quemar hijo de puta, does not say anything.
The correct sentence should be:
No te vayas a quemar hijo de puta.
Don´t you get burned son of a whore.
It doesn't make sense. If you would've said, "no te vayas a quemar hija de puta" it means, "don't burn yourself son of a b***" but if you would've said, "vete a quemar hijo de puta" it would mean, "go burn yourself son of a b***" so I think that you forgot to put the "no" in "no te vayas a quemar hijo de puta" - "don't burn yourself son of a b***"
well the way you wrote does not really make sense,,,
it may be "No te vayas a quemar hijo de p..."
which is: dont you go to burn son of a b....
or " te vas a quemar hijo de p...." which means : you are gonna get burn son of a b...
both are like advising, like a way to say .. carefull !, you could get burned son of a ....!
from spanish to english:
te vayas a quemar hijo de puta? ---> are you going to burn a whore's son?
--- i hope it is correct though i don't know why this question was allowed to be posted in the first place...
basically its your going to get burn son of a b...
but usually it could be a double meaning not only your going to be burn literally but like your goign to make yourself look stupid, dumb sct
this is usually called "albur" or slang in mexico in the poor and most dangeroius places is were you would hear this types of sayings.
Yep, what they all said above me. Sounds like someone wants to see your aas smokin. What did you do to have someone this mad at you? A little advice: Watch your back.
