How do I become a specialized travel agent?
Hi there, I would like to become a travel agent specializing for young people holidays and luxurious tours in the Mediterranean. I have worked in the travel industry before, I speak several languages and have a good geographical knowledge. There are a lot of offers on line for courses, to me though, most of them don't seem worthy, do you have any suggestion on good courses and to how I get started? Thank you

Your intended specialization is too narrow and you will not make enough money to stay in business for long
First get educated properly for that field. Find a very successful travel agency, travel agent and ask if they can mentor you in becoming successful in that field. You may want to let them know that you are willing to to be an apprentice, paid apprentice preferably. Start knocking on doors and making phone calls and no matter what be yourself. Also, make sure you are willing to sacrifice and put 100% into it. Give it your all.
I can’t tell you enough, eventually, do your own thing and start your own business, work for yourself. If you depend on others you are wasting your time. I mean right now you have to take what you can get, and I understand that. But build your own thing now for the future. Do it now before you have to do it later on.
I found some online opportunities that have been helping me through and they work great. I am also on my way to starting my own business. I now have 2 businesses going, not really making substantial money yet, but I am on the way and I can see it happening and I have faith that if I can put my all into it I will yield positive results!
