Do you gain weight from going out to restaurants? Is there food high in fat?is there soemthing you can order thats less fatty? as it would eb weird to just sit there wiht a glass of water.
Uh yeah that's why the food tastes so good is all the fat in it. Even the salads aren't healthy unless u take half the toppings off & use low-fat dressing. Salads w/ bacon, chz, croutons, crackers & a cup of ranch dumped on it is NOT healthy even if it is a salad. U can modify ur food order to make it healthier & yet still taste good. It can be done
Eating at restaurants is tricky because the food is very often more caloric than the food you would prepare yourself at home. But, there are steps to help reduce its fatty effects. Get a salad or seasonal veggie instead of fries. Avoid deep fried food. Consider a veggie patty/black bean burger/turkey burger instead of a beef burger. Drink water, not sugary soda. Order condiments and dressing on the side. Don't clean your plate, the servings are usually too big. I have also heard that you may eat less if you put your fork down between bites.
It is very easy to gain weight if you go out to restaurants often. If your restaurant visits are occasional and you watch your diet otherwise, you should not gain weight. If you go frequently and make wise choices you also should not gain weight. Some restaurants Will be easier than others but you should be able to find something at almost every restaurant. Vegetables without a cream or butter sauce are good choices. Salads with dressing on the side and then use a very small amount of dressing are a good idea. Non-creamy dressings will be better than creamy dressings. Lean meat, poultry or fish without sauce are good choices. Whole grain breads in moderation are good choices. Baked potatoes without butter or sour cream are good choices. In other words the same good choices you should make at home. Also portion size is important. Eat only 1/4 to 1/2 of what they give you and take the rest home or split your dinner with someone else.
Obviously it depends on the restaurant. Each restaurant has different foods, and of course there are going to be foods that are not so good for you. If you want to order something less fatty, just switch to healthier options. For example, if you're at Olive Garden, instead of getting a huge plate of pasta, get a soup and a salad (no dressing) instead.
Sometimes I go to restaurants and I drink a glass of water. I eat well so I'm healthy. You can ask the waited if it has fat in the food and which is better to eat. you could have a salad and I know soup would be great to eat. Broccoli with cheese soup and Vegetable soup are my favorite two. they're are both lacking in fats. ^_^ Hope this helped.
Depending on what type of restaurant you go to, if its such as a McDonald's yes and steakhouses and applebees, and restaurants such as that sorta, but places such as real Thai, Asian and places like that aren't all that bad

at the outback grilled small steak, steamed veggies, salad not so bad for you 86 the dressing and butter
It depends on what you order. And always order water as it is healthy for you and has no calories.
MOST OF THE TIME, DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU GET THOUGH.
