im getting contacts for the first time and don't know what to get. the contacts im going to get i want to wear everyday (daily). if these contacts aren't good then what contacts should i get.
i want contacts that don't rip inside or get stuck
Contacts don't rip inside or get stuck whatever brand you go with. Sometimes contacts can feel like they are stuck if your eyes get very dry or you accidentally sleep in them , but that is about yoru eyes being dry and can be fixed with some re-wetting drops.
When you get a contact fitting the optician will pick on suitable brands for you adn give you trials. Not all lenses suit all people and sometimes they have to give you different brands if the initial trials dont' work. Coloured contacts dont' let as much oxygen to your eye as clear lenses and therefore can't be worn safely for as long. If you want somethign cosmetic then you could look at getting the odd pack of coloured lenses for special occasions, but if you are just getting them its best to go with clear lenses and see how they work out.
If you want to wear contacts every day then clear are a better option and fortnightly /monthly disposables will probably work otu cheaper than daily disposables. Explain your priorities to teh optican and they will factor this in to the type of lens they give you as trials.
