I am going on a carnival cruise(victory) for four days. Can someone explain to me a little bit about club o2? Is it fun? What kind of activities do you do? What kind of music do they play?
I'm a 15 year old girl and i recently went on the carnival splendor (in Feb) and im going on the same ship in april, so I was at club 02 last time. honestly, it was probably the best cruise ive ever been on. norwegian and royal caribbean are no comparison to the teen program on carnival. anyway, so BE SURE TO GO THE FIRST NIGHT. go around 9 PM or so the first night, or stop by earlier in the day, to start making friends. the groups are usually established by the second night. so what youre gonna want to do is find people who have the same 'cruise goals' as you. what i mean by cruise goals is if youre looking to have fun and hang with guys, or if youre looking to hook up with girls. your group can make or break you haha. so the club will have various activities throughout the cruise to do, like dodgeball and karaoke and foosball tournaments, but you'll probably spend most of your time hanging with your friends instead of in the club. dont worry, just go with an open mind and try to make friends! if you have any more questions, you can contact me via twitter or instagram- @ddjustme (i love talking about cruises!!) anyway, im sure you'll have a great time!!
Yes, it's easy and since it might be a week and a half people will be really nice. As soon as you board the ship be sure to sign in for O2 then later say 8 or 9sh when they open go there and meet up. You'll find others your age and make a sizeable group (maybe max at 7 or 8, equal boy to girl ratio). Also, stay around the club you might play dodgeball and such after the first day the activities are pretty lame so you and your group can go and eat all the ice cream and food you want. Not to mention, go swimming, sit in the jacuzzi, use the waterpark,minigolfing, or a movie. Also, they're might be some hooking up. You'll see a guy that catches your attention and you like him. You'll end up kissing and such but don't have sex or fall in love you either will regret it or miss the dude. Be nice and such and don't be immature as you will be a loner. Enjoy your vacation.
The ship I was on last week had a huge screen with Dance Dance Revolution, and karaoke nights for the teens. There's a room where you can hang out and meet your friends, but you're free to go anywhere on the ship, too. Some of the ships have amazing sports facilities on the top deck, with basketball courts, climbing walls, miniature golf, and many other activities if you like that kind of stuff. And of course there are the pools and water slides.
