Simple Math Problem, 9th & 10th grade math?

Determine g-1(x) of the function g(x)= 1(over)2x + 6 where x≠ -3.

It is 1 over (2x + 6), not just 1/2x + 6

First person to give the right answer gets the points. I will know if you try to bs me.

  • solve y = 1 / [ 2x + 6] for x---> 2x + 6 = 1 / y ---> x = - 3 + 1 / [ 2y]

    if you have to have y as the dependent variable then g inverse (x) = - 3 + 1 / [ 2x ]

  • the dimensions of the 2d triangle of a triangle is two inches under the dimensions of that is first part. The length of the 0.33 part is 12 inches greater effective than the dimensions of the 1st part. the edge of the triangle is seventy 3 inches. First part = x 2d part = x-2 0.33 part = x + 12 Perimeter of a triangle is A+B+C (x)+(x-2)+(x+12) = seventy 3 Simplify and you get 3x+10=seventy 3 and sparkling up for x then plug it back in.
