  • the more people see the less they desire to see, for they see the truth and the truth is exactly what the truth is. And it is not at all desirable.

  • it really depends on the person . Maybe cuz the intelligent people are so intelligent that they know about life and people , like maybe they know that people cannot really be trusted and they understand that, so they dont trust people, leading to people not wanting to get to know them , so that means that they dont have much friends in their life, thus they may not have joy and friendship in their life, so they're unhappy . But it really depends . and you know, they say that everything is a miracle. and if you're intelligent, you may not think that way, so a miracle to them is like a great discovery or something, and not something tiny but makes us happy, like going on a holiday, not having homework and those little things, and its really rare to have a great discovery so they may not be happy in that sense . And Naive people are normally the ones who are the happiest, like children .

  • I believe that it is true, but that's my opinion. See, I think he means that knowledge isn't always as great as it appears to be. When you are aware of the reason behind something, it takes the joy of wondering about it away. I mean, if you know TOO MUCH of something then you wouldn't be so fascinated by it, right?

  • Hmmm it just reflects on his own personality

  • yeahh it could be true in most cases
