I would like to know of a keystroke that I can use to eject my disk without having to use the eject button located on the drive itself.

  • If you open up your 'My Computer', you should be able to right click on the cdrom and click on eject disc.

  • in the beginning in d bios setup, chk 4 ATA and enable 8. If 8 do not artwork, then substitute d new confusingchronic that u placed on d laptop. 8 going 2 artwork 4 u. After doing same 8 will known d DVD/CDchronic on yur HP computing device DV6000 living house windows Vista 32bit. whether, enable me ask u, have been d laptop made 4 living house windows Vista 32bit or living house windows Vista 64bit? If 8 develop into made 4 living house windows Vista 64bit, then pls go searching 4 a living house windows Vista 64bit working gadget.

  • 1. Click the "start" button on your computer

    2. Select "my computer'

    3. right click on the "DVD of Cd" Option

    4. Click on eject. Voila!

    5. Using a paper clip as suggested is the only other option if that doesn't work.

    6. Otherwise have someone look at it.

  • Below is a link to some code that can help you. It is executed from a command line or shortcut on your desktop to open the drive. I just tried it and it works on my machine. You will use the command line "oc.com /o".

If you need help with this, let me know.

  • ask your computer manufacturer.

i think there is no shortcut for except that you have to open your "my computer". then right click then click on eject.

  • PAPER CLIP! ^^

If you really get desperate, get a paper clip (or anything else small, thin and tough) and shove it in hard through this small hole in your CD tray. It's there.
