Can you flush a 09 dodge charger sxt ac system?
My 09 chargers ac compressor failed internally leaving the system contaminated. I am getting the ac compressor kit for installation but now the mechanic is trying to charge for the lines also because they say they cannot flush this particular cars system. Is this true?

That is not true, unless the lines are bad there should be no need to replace them, i would get a second opinion from someone else.
If it uses an orfice tube rather than an expansion valve, then that may be true unless the fitting the line with the tube us disconnected. Now if the failure sent metal particles thoughout the system, then if it has an orfice tube, then that line should be replaced for sure. Normally they are not ultra expensive, at least not on older vehicles..
