2005 c240 "service A exceeded by ... Miles"?
This messege pops up whenever I start my car and only last for 10 seconds. After that it dissapears and theres no way to make it reapear unless i take the key out and start it up again. Ive followed instructions to reset it but as soon as i hit the reset button the message dissapears. Is there anyway to make it go away so it doesnt pop up when i turn the ignition on? Ive taken it to a garage and he printed out the instructions to do it and couldnt figure it out.
ive tried this with no avail

One thing I know of, at least on early MBs with FSS, is that the door has to be closed. So in other words, get in the car and close the door and try the instructions, don't be sitting in the seat with the door open. I know this was true from 98 or so up until the early 2000's.
I have an E63 and S63 and I service them myself. I'm on service C on both. Turn key to ignition, scroll into the service menu, after that try pressing the reset button, but only for a click, after that it should display a service menu, scroll around and once you've selected Service B, in your case, select by pressing the reset button for a few seconds, after that take your key out and put it back in and start the vehicle. It should be set to Service B. You can also call your dealer and ask to talk to a mechanic if you still need help.
To the answer below, that's only for OBD and OBDII programming (not reading) and performance chips installations with OBDII.
However, in his C he's just having trouble setting his service to a new service schedule, you can just go to a dealer and ask a worker to come check something out in your car, say that you have a problem with your dashboard, be as much not knowing as possible. He will probably just do it for you, you don't need a second computer to do it.
If he has the same problem, just expect to give him five bucks..
