Regardless of what anyone says about the man, he was talented and had a great outlook for the world in general and world peace. I have nothing but respect for him and his work.
pac wasn't a fake thug first off, as a 2pac fan here is my perspective.
pac rapped about real ****. Pac said when he was alive his goal was not to be the most lyrical or have the most punchlines but to be the realest be the realest rapper and that's just what he did in my opinion. I don't think pac started a "thug image" I think when he blew up the police started targeting him more because they found out who he was. like the oakland pd(**** you!) when they assaulted him for j walking. that was not because he was a thug to my knowledge he never had problems with the police like that until he was starting to get noticed more/ media and they got a bigger picture of who he was of course they saw him walking around oakland but once they added 2 and 2 and put his face with the guy on tv is when the problems started. everything pac did was for a reason T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E. means something everything he did meant something or was for a reason. say you look at a video of pac when he was 17 and than one when he was 24 of course he's gonna be different that's a 7-8 year time span he learned allot within a year so imagine how much he learned within that time frame. like i said everything was for a reason. like when he shot those 2 cops in atl was not because he was a thug and didn't like cops it's because those 2 cops where drunk somewhere in atl(out of there jurisdiction) with 2 guns they stole from the evidence locker harassing inoccent black males in the sidewalk minding their business(that would of made me pissed enough) and to make matters worse i heard they broke his windsheild i would of shot the bastards too wouldn't you of did the same?
Well there was stuff on YouTube like 2pac was kept in school by his mom, she kept him out of the ghetto. And that Tupac was taking dance and ballet classes. When Tupac got out of school he got a job dancing for Digital UnderGround. They introduced him to the party life of Rap,.Women, Drugs, etc. Thats when Tupac decided to try rapping. So i guess what people are saying is that he gave himself a thug image to sell records
