  • Highly recommended by the Magaluf uncovered site is Ness Beach Club right on the Magaluf beach stretch. Laid back, great food, and a superb venue for getting in the party mood with great DJs spinning tunes in the background, and an enormous terrace from which to watch the world go by. The venue has it's own website, all in Spanish, rather nice looking DJs. Tel - +34 619 46 06 97 to make a reservation.

Want ya Sunday Roast? Get down to 42nd Street then, opposite the Sling Shot, can't miss it apparently. 42nd Street is a family run bar/restaurant with a friendly very English atmosphere, and food served is mostly traditional English, with various Chef specials each day. There's a pool table, large screen tv and a little terrace onto the street for good people watching! Find 42nd Street on Calle Pinada 7, Torrenova, Magaluf, Calvia, 07181, Mallorca. Tel: +34 971 134 646

Daiquiripalace, aka Gill and the Girls, is renowned for it's iced cocktails. Again this bar/eatery is right on the beach, offering great beach views. 24 different iced cocktails are on offer here, plus a large beach bar with terrace, a steady reel of tunes, a the food is American snack style, pizzas are their speciality and made fresh every day, served in rectangle slices.

No doubt the attractive waitresses pull in those punters as well. Looks like they work pretty hard. This place is big, with a huge terrace, a barbecue area, three outside kiosk, a large game area, and an inside food court with game room. Size aids the party atmosphere, and Daiquiri will accommodate large or small corporate events or celebration events - upto 2000 they say. Find Daiquiri at Calle Contraalmirante Ferragut, S/N, 07181 Magalluf, Calvia, Majorca, tel: +34 971 130855

Check out BCM Magaluf, Planet Dance, a hotspot club in Magaluf. Frequented by the likes of DJFubar (check link to right), BCM has an impressive 10,000 watts of sound and 400,000 watts of lighting systems. There's five screens showcasing dazzling laser shows and 16 "cannons" dispense party paraphernalia such as balloons, wet stuff and the like, eek. The building has no internal pillars, allowing plenty of space, while its incredibly high ceiling gives clubbers the feeling of being outside under the stars. A team of dancers get the party moving, supported by some of the world's best DJs as they tour the Med. BCM Planet Dance, Avda S'olivera, s/n, Magaluf, Spain, 07182, Tel: +34 971 132 715

There's some ace tourist info sites on Magaluf out there already (see links to the right), so for detailed club info check with them. There's a real working together of the clubs and bars out there. People seem to look out for each other. The result is things like the relatively new club pass - the MCP Magaluf Club Pass. This gives you entrance to the five big clubs including Boomerangs, Bananna Club (watch out for Hed Kandi here!), the classic 60s, 70s & 80s venue Carwash, Fusion and Tokio Joes. With the Magaluf Club pass when you pay admission to any of these five clubs you get your first drink free, plus you'll get stamped and it'll give you unlimited admission to any of the five clubs. Takes out a lot of hassle!

Stag Weekends Magaluf style are a great idea. Hen parties as well. It's all here, plus the Majorca sunshine as well, and not much more than the price of a Stag weekend Blackpool style.

Stag and hens can choose from an array of favourite stag and hen pursuits, including Magaluf and Palma Nova choice clubbing, go-karting, waterparks, superb clean sandy beaches with lots of watersports and enough bars and restaurants to fuel a billion parties.

Magaluf on the west side of the Bay of Palma is a clubland/nightlife mecca resort in Majorca, with a real tongue in cheek character. Both Magaluf and Palma Nova evolved out of the post 1960s tourist boom, and today they really are on the list of top youth clubbing holiday nightlife destinations. Both are very good value for money vacation package holiday destinations. Extremely British, with Brit Bars all along the coastline here so yep it's like a home from home with the heat! And there's a real 'tongue in cheek' friendly feel to both Magaluf and Palma Nova, two Majorca resorts which kind of blend into one. There all here, Eastenders Bar, the Prince William Pub and the big clubs like BCM Magaluf. They kind of laugh at themselves these resorts, and they're friendly with it. Many miss the joke, but not the many that return year after year. Let it all hang out! Magaluf and Palma Nova quieten down out of the peak summer season, and make good laid back Majorca holiday destinations in late spring and early autumn!

Bonus, is the superb stretch of sandy beaches along this west coast of Palma Bay. Lots of bars, lots of clubs, lots of watersports sitting a-top of a giant bananna and so forth, plus waterparks, go-karting, mini golf, Macdonalds, Burger King, larger and cocktails on tap 24/7. Other water sports in abundance include paracending, doughnuting, Kite Surfing and jet skiing. Sound like your idea of heaven, is for many. Palma Nova and Magaluf are becoming increasingly popular with long-weekenders and stag and hen parties, with only an hours transfer time from the airport, or just 15 minutes by taxi, plus a short flight of just over two hours and lots of cheap deals. Well worth considering as a short break, it makes sense to choose Blackpool in the Sun!
