You need to cut your dad some serious slack, realize his glory days are over, and the last thing he needs is "you" not wanting to get to know him, cuz he could tell you stories that would make your pubic hairs turn bleach white, and be patient.

depends on who's it with. if its some asshole then, yes. if its 1 of my friends it takes a while, and i try to resolve the issue.
