Beats pro or V moda crossfade lp2?

Hi

I'm looking for some headphones that look and sound really good. I am looking at the Beats Pro (refurb) and the V mode crossfade lp/lp2. Which one sounds better and which one would you recommend? Also, are their any other durable, and good looking headphones out there for under $200 that sound better?

Update:

Also, a moderately sized cord would be nice.

  • NEITHER of those. Please do yourself a favour and do NOT buy Turtle, JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, Lady GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters nor Bose, because they are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), be them fake or not! If REAL quality is an issue, please go for REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica, Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. Things like Sony, JVC and Philips are ONLY "okay-ish".

  • Durability alone should have the V-Moda LP as a win. Sound is better too (though you will always notice that the LP is a bass heavy..even that can be adjusted down). Just try bending any of the Beats products ... they are mostly plastic and will snap if flexed aggressively. The LP's are made of much better materials. Steel band, metal connectors from band to actual cans.

They even come with a great case.

The hater here has not really listened to any of these. Beats and V-Moda both sound good and are genuine headphones. Just that the LP2's are a better value.

  • Not good looking but the ATH M50s are amazing for the price of 130$

Also v modes look cooler and have better sound quality

  • Pro's are the way to go. Way good bass!
