Do I need transit visa? Filipino citizen to Amsterdam via franfurt.?

Filipino Passport, travelling to Amsterdam via frankurt. Since both cities are schengen states, will Netherland embassy give me schengen visa without restriction or do I have to apply seperately for a Netherland visa and transit visa to frankurt?

  • Normally the Dutch Embassy gives Schengen Visa, that is to say , that you can travel to every country which has ratified the agreement. At present: Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Austria, Liechtenstein, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland. So the Schengen Agreement does not inclued all EU countries.

  • because of the fact the previous answerer suggested no choose for visa in Amsterdam. i'm uncertain approximately Ecuador yet I assume that he's suited. examine with the airline in case you have doubts. In maximum countries you do not bypass via immigration whilst changing planes from one worldwide flight to a diverse. be careful approximately ever transiting in u . s . because of the fact they many times make flow passengers bypass via immigration and a paranoid protection examine earlier allowing them to depart returned.

  • i think not since you have schengen visa of which basically germany is part of it.
