This is a very unfair accusation by Gareth Southgate. I watched the game highlights 3 times and cannot support such grotesque claim. Also, if the coach felt that someone was to be blamed for his loss against Manchester United, he should have pointed the finger on the man who made the call - the referee. Cristiano has been playing very respectfully all season and does not deserve such harsh treatment!
Yeah I though only Italian players, too. I think C.Ronlado is a great player but he does dive a lot. He gets fouled on a lot, but he exaggerates sometimes.
I really thought he had made an honest effort to improve that aspect of his game, but after the Man U match, I again have my doubts and I'm a Man U fan. He is a frustrating player as he has ability enough to not have to resort to that all the time.
Edit: I guess so Daniele...crappy part of our game.

I don't know if he is a "serial diver",but I guess he does have huge potentials of becoming a great player.
