    Ability to foresee is a function of knowledge and experience, and hope is neither, so - False.

    Our faith keeps us from wavering. Thus - False

    If this statement was true, then the more hope would mean the more faith, which is not the case - False

    Even the most desperate human beings still hope, so the statement is False

    I think, if you would've defined "hope" specifically, as, for instance, hope for Salvation, then 2, 3 and 4 could be true.
