Homemade <span >Christmas</span> Present?

Since the recession has hit me hard for Christmas i'm on a BUDGET! What are some CHEAP things i can buy? What are some things i can make?

    candles, which everyone loves. Scrap books, framed photos, cookies, homemade candy, IOU's (Cards that say what you 'owe' somebody' i.e 'i owe you a back massage') things like that

    go 2 a dollar store or places like target they usualli have a corner in the store where there's things for a dollar or 2 or sometin like that :D good luc :P

    you can make a blanket,scarf, picture frames, jewlery, cookies:)
