You open up windows media player and click on add to library. Then you click browse and to add all of your songs go to where your songs are stored and add the folder and click okay. This should add them all to your library in windows media player.
Sometimes you cannot move files simply because some program has open those files that you want to move. - Close the application that is using those files at this moment, I assume that is Ares, so close Ares, then try to move the files again. - Chances are that Ares has those files opened for some reason at the moment you're trying to move them, so closing the application that has them opened you should be able to move them and put them wherever you want.
If you want to move them to Windows Media Player, the most obvious place to put them should be in the "My Music" folder under "My Documents" that is
C:\Documents and Settings\(your Windows username)\My Documents\My Music
