A chemical reaction was used to produce 1.28 moles of copper(II) bicarbonate. What mass of copper(II) bicarbonate was produced?

  • Molar mass of copper(II) bicarbonate = 63.5 + 2*(1 + 12 + 3*16) g mol^-1

    = 185.5 g mol^-1

    Now, 1 mole of Cu(HCO3)2 = 185.5 g

    Therefore, 1.28 moles = 237.44 g was produced
