Depending on your manufacturer, if you did not receive an XP Disc with your system, the operating system could be on your D drive.
Boot into safe mode using F8 while you are booting and you'll have option(s) to restore factory defaults.
The entire system is held on the D drive rather than give you a disc.

Use the "'thoroughly fix gadget to production unit defaults" option. this may completely reinstall living house windows, 7 im assuming? after that that is going to be contained in the state of at the same time as it become sparkling and usual became on. All you should do then is go via some elementary steps, username, password, connect to community etc. remember it is going to comprise out classes put in and each and everything you install will of lengthy previous, so that you in basic terms ought to replica back your information and deploy your classes.
Unless you have a recovery partition, you are SOL. Sorry dude, you need a restore disk, recovery partition on your hard drive, or a good old fashioned XP cd.
I am not sure that can be done without the discs. Where are the discs? I never buy a computer without getting the discs.
