Do storms present opportunities? C/C?
(had to chuckle at the scene after the storm passed)
Opportunities
Birds seem to like aftermaths-
when winds visit for awhile
with their noisy crying relatives
but upon leaving- generous tippers
of dazed, half drowned buffets
across lawns with manicures.
Ten robins worked our table spread-
no limit on protein portions today.

That painted some vivid pictures in my head, the fluttering wings, the disappearing food,an occasional squabble for a bit something especially delectable to birds--- and Nonny, chuckling as he watched them steal his repast.
Nice pickins' both for the feathered friends an for your pen
I think they chirp in joyful choirs and celebrate the worst is over
how many squirrels stood by waiting their turn?
I love storms, except when they are within my person.
