Windows 7 graphics card problem.?

ok i had windows xp as my default os and it ran games and all that just fine and then i installed windows 7 and it dont support aero and the games i used to play in xp say there is not enough video memory this never happened and it says i got a standard VGA graphics and it dont allow me to enable 3d acceleration and on windows xp my default it does.

  • Install your motherboard and graphics card drivers.

  • If your graphics card is quite old, it may not have a Windows 7 compatible driver. Without the proper driver, the card will only work in 2D mode and won't be able to support 3D acceleration. For older equipment, better stay with Win XP. Microsoft is supporting Win XP up to 2014.
