New Graphics Card, No signal!?

I bought a new power supply that is 630W to make sure that I can run my graphics card. When I put in the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 650 Ti and turn on the computer, nothing shows up in the monitor. I have an HP W2072a monitor and a HP Pavilion p6-2320t with windows 8. Please help me! I hate my current graphics card because it runs 10 fps per second in minecraft!

  • make sure the power connectors are correctly seated in the connectors on the card, then plug the monitor into the motherboard and go into the bios and find where if talks about using an external graphic card and enable it. then save and restart with the monitor plugged into the new graphic card. windows opens and go to geforce.com and download the drivers for your card and it should work perfectly.
