do canada dry cans use aluminum or steel?

just wondering because steel is safe and aluminum is potentially harmful.

  • All pop cans that I know of are made of aluminum.

If they were made of steel they would be very heavy and more difficult to recycle.

  • According to this reference: Aluminium

Most metal beverage cans made in the United States are manufactured from aluminum,[7] whereas in some parts of Europe and Asia approximately 55 percent are made of steel and 45 percent are aluminum alloy.

  • sure. purchase a bimetallic strip the place one area is aluminum and the different is metallic. A bimetallic strip is a undeniable metallic strip the place an aluminum strip is fused to a metallic strip via severe frequency welding. you may style the strip to the form of the table legs' pass area then weld the metallic area to the leg and the aluminum area to the table precise. determine despite if that the aluminum table precise is a weldable alloy and nicely suited with the bimetallic strip.( you may no longer weld Al. Alloy 6061T6 so seem for Al.Alloy 5086H32 or 5456H321 or the decrease Al. Alloy designations, yet they might desire to be rigidity hardened and not thermally hardened).

  • Of course they are made from aluminum. Steel is much heavier and costly than alum.

  • I would guess aluminum - most cans are made of that.

  • soda pop cans are made with aluminum.

  • aluminum

  • haha i just said the same thing on my video ..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=607Ghmy8T28 so please give me best answer.
