Do you think Vampirism is a disease?
I have done a lot of research and a bunch merely suggest, but can never prove that vampirism is linked to a disease. What are your thoughts on this matter?
Forever yours,
Wolfy.
Update:No games or anything like that. I want real answers. Thank you.

It's a matter of believing, and being open-minded, a lot of thoughts and everything can go into it, but it seems more likely to be a type of disease, you should read this website if you hadn't it might be able to help with the research you've done.
Hahaha... i've got not performed Oblivion in fairly some years yet I knew precisely what you have been asking approximately, i will even bear in mind that little shack with the female and her little farm on that hill. I bear in mind discovering on it because of the fact I had gotten Vampirism too and did no longer comprehend the thank you to treatment it. i think that long quest is the only way you could treatment it. You assemble a team of things for the female, or is it a guy whose spouse died from Vampirism? I forget if it became right into a guy or female, yet I bear in mind their companion loss of existence from Vampirism that's why they discovered a treatment for it. yet yeah, that quest is the only way i comprehend/bear in mind.
Vampirism is not a disease, but it is a mental illness.
The mind is full of stories, and it is in a constant state of flux.
Carl Jung took a greater interest than Freud in mythology for its own sake, believing that the function of myth was to reveal the workings of the unconscious.
Jung worked with dreams and, with knowledge of people's lives, symbols, mythology and religion, he concluded that a diversity of energies or archetypes inhabited the unconscious.
Joseph Campbell and many others agreed with Jung that myth represented the human search for meaning or what gave significance to our lives.
Mythological systems gave the people something to believe in and live by; similarly a mythological system gave both political and religious leaders power over the community. Myths or folklores arose out of people's economic problems and political and religious manipulation of the people.
Werewolves, vampires and zombles were, thus, created as the results of the political and religious manipulation of the people.
On 12th June 2012; the ancient skeleton of man pinned down in his grave to stop him turning into a vampire, was put on show in Bulgaria,Sofia, where Vampire tales kept their bite to this day. Several skeletons were disvcovered.
In the words of its discoverer. archaeologist Dimitar Nedev : " These were most probably intellectuals who outgrew the moral ideas of the14th century .... They were buried outside town halls." They were deemed to be potential vampires... one of the skeletons was pinned down to his grave.
Bozr Dimitrov- the chief of the national history museum says : " The discovery was a strange proof of the beliefs and superstitions of our ancestors."
But, he added, a museum employee kept making the sign of the cross while washing the bones, indicating that vampire fears are still alive.
Anti-vampirism funeral rites remain strong in modern Bulgaria, ethnologist Rachko Popov said.
My thought are ' Old habit dies hard ! ' .
Vampirism is thus more of a mental illness.
well there may in fact be a mental disease that deludes a person into thinking he or she NEEDS to drink blood of humans to survive but no i don't believe in the vampires who burn up in the sun or anything like Dracula
Actually, I think it would be more like a parasite. You get the parasite, it forces you to feed on blood to sustain it, and it alters your body to make you better able to do it. Of course, this is largely just speculation on my part.
in real life, vampires are demons, its not a disease at all. they are sadistic demons who will torture you till your over the edge, then turn you to make your torment eternal.
in Skyrim it is.
