  • If by "old profile" you mean one created through the Yahoo! 360 beta service, it was shutdown around July 13, 2009. See http://www.yprofileblog.com/blog/2009/07/14/yahoo-... , http://www.yprofileblog.com/blog/2009/05/29/yahoo-... , and http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/shutdown for details. If you did not take steps to save or transfer your 360 content, it is permanently gone.

Yahoo! updated their pre-existing profiling system - the Yahoo! Profiles (http://profiles.yahoo.com/ ) to have social-networking features in October 2008. If you want to display images there beyond the Profile Card area, then see the following options below:

    1) BLOG AREA

You can add photos to blogs by linking to them. That means the photo would have to be hosted on an external photo hosting service like Flickr (http://flickr.com/ ) or Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/ ) that will provide a URL for each image. See http://www.yprofileblog.com/blog/2009/06/08/how-to... and http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profiles/blog/pro... for details.

    2) FLICKR PHOTOSTREAM UPDATES

Yahoo! Profiles has an "Updates" system. You can add updates from Yahoo! services and some external sites that you use - like Flickr. See instructions here on how to show updates from a Flickr photostream: http://www.yprofileblog.com/blog/2009/03/05/profil... . When you add a picture to your Flickr photostream, then the profile viewer can click on the link for that image to lead them to your Flickr page. Also, see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profiles/updates/... and http://help.yahoo.com/tutorials/prof/prof/prof_upd... for more about Updates.

    3) FLICKR PHOTOSTREAM WEB ADDRESS -- STATUS LINK (CLICKABLE) & OTHER AREAS (NON-CLICKABLE)

You can add a non-clickable Flickr URL to your "About Me" module, the City field of your Profile card, and likely other areas. See http://www.flickr.com/help/sharing/#2182 and http://www.flickr.com/account/ for more about the Flickr web address. The status message in the profile card does allow clickable URLs, which you can add to the end of your status.
