I am planning vaishno devi trip with my friends in this january 2015. I wanted to know what all best places are there to visit. We love adventures spots. Gulmurg and dal jheel are there. Apart from them, what all are the fantastic places to explore.???

If you take the route from Katra to Vaishno Devi shrine by foot, that itself is nothing short of an adventure. Don't go by pony or the chopper. Gulmarg is a scenic place and Dal is a lake. There is no adventure. For real adventure, go to Nepal and climb the Everest.
