Yes it is trust worthy. Friend use it all the time. But beware, cost total including console, tax, shipping and handling, and importing could cost 500 to 1000 usd from trusted news sites. Plus the warranty only cover Japan. So if it breaks, don't expect your country's Sony doing anything about it.
Besides it's only 2 month away after Japan. Would be better to get it locally them imporating it, wasting 1000 usd.
