How close do special lease prices come to actual lease prices?

I am currently looking for a new car and am more than likely going to lease it. If there is a lease deal for a vehicle that I'm looking at claiming $349 a month, how close does the actual price I will pay per month come to that? Is it generally more then the advertised amount, if so how much more is it usually? I have very good credit and am just new to leasing all together. Thanks!

  • Take the payment, multiply it by your sales tax. Bam! There's your payment...

The payment is exact in the special, it just does not have tax in the advertisement.

    In Indiana (Where I am):

    349 x 1.07 = 373.43

There's your payment if your sales tax is 7%

    You're welcome.

  • Tax, tag & fees and any extra options will get the price far above $349 for most people.

You really need to rethink fleecing.
