agricultural biotechnology?
I wanted to know exactly what is agricultural biotechnology about. I'm going to opt for this at University at my parent's behest but I'm not able to get enough info about. If anyone could explain or atleast give me clues as to where to find the info I need, it would be great.

OK. First of all, I'm not an expert on this subject - this is just a guess. I would imagine it has to do with the bio-enhanced crops. Genetically creating drought resistance, disease-resistance, increasing sustainability, etc. It may be one of those majors that goes by a different name at each school. For example, video game design goes by that name at some schools, computer animation studies at others, etc. Your best bet is to check with the school to which you are applying. Make an appointment with the department dean if you have to.
