How to change a computer after return policy expires?
my desktop is new, but the policy to return it is out. I think i want a laptop instead but i don't have the slightest clue on how to go about switching it out for something new... any ideas???

First, you're not going to "switch it out" and get a new laptop for free. Period. You might be able to get an allowance for a trade-up, but they still probably won't give you what you think your machine is worth. They want to be able to make something off your old machine.
As to what to do, talk to the management at the place you bought your current machine. They're the most likely to want to keep you as a customer.
