who do i recover data on my xp computer?
i put my computer in recovery mode so after i lost my music and other stuff. i started like new so i lost my stuff. but i know its somewhere on my hard drive cause i had memory taken up. and i still have the same amount of memory before i lost all my stuff.

You can try doing a windows search on your hard drive based on file extension to help locate the media and/or if they were indeed removed then you could try an application called Recuva from Pirisoft, I believe it's free and it's pretty good. They also make c-cleaner which is a nifty little cleaning program (best around) and for the price of FREE it's even better.
