  • If you like them, it doesn't matter what other people think of the breeches. If there's a large brand name on the side of your breeches, yes, you should remove it, it would be distracting. If you don't have a seam ripper, you can find one at any sewing/fabric/craft type store, very cheap. Just so you know, you'd probably need to be able to sew the seam shut again afterward, they're not called a seam ripper for nothing!

I sure hope that was what you were asking, I had a little trouble figuring out what the actual question was!

  • There is nothing wrong with Equistar breeches - most all the major tack stores sell them. They usually use a material called Clarino, a faux leather product, for their kneepatches but this is common in many breeches. Suede is used in higher end breeches, but they take more care when you wash them.

There's nothing wrong with having a tag on - no one will notice it when you ride. However, I usually take scissors and cut any tags I don't like off very, very close to the seam rather than try to rip open the seam.

  • I have Equi-Star synthetic tall boots and I love them! So I don't think they're a crappy brand lol but if you don't like the breeches by all means don't wear something you're not comfortable in especially if you're showing in them.
