Why do Prius drivers drive so slow? Especially from a stop?

if they own a prius they are probably very fuel conscious
it wastes less fuel to accelerate slowly than to accelerate quickly
thus, they go so slowly to save even more fuel, you've already got a prius, why not go the extra mile?
If you allow it the Prius will teach you how to drive economically. The perhaps surprising part is that there is no difference in your arrival time. You can either drive for economy or wait at every stop light. A better question might be "Why do some drivers think that waiting longer at a stop light gets them home sooner?"

Why is this in LGBT? Also I have no idea and I have noticed anyone driving more slowly or anything just because they are in a Prius. I do notice people in general who do not pay attention on the road and you would think they are sleeping because the light changes to green and they are just sitting there like the car is going to drive itself or something lol.
