Dodge Caravan 2002.......?
My friend, lives in Puerto Rico and she had a car accident in her Dodge Caravan 2002: When she turned her car on, it accelerated by itself, and in an urban zone it was running at more than 100MPH, she could not break, she couldn't do anything. Her car was unresponsive.

she should have simply turned the ignition off immediately
you say she turned the car on and it accelerated by itself, who put the transmission into gear then? I'll give you a break because maybe you don't drive yet, but it could not have happened the way you say it did
most cases of unintended acceleration occur due to human error, the driver will floor the accelerator thinking that it is the brake, though it could be caused by the floor mat getting bunched up around the accelerator linkage, holding it to the floor, or there could be a defect in the cruise control, though I mention it last, because it is the least likely scenario.
