And a AMD Athlon Dual Core Processor 4850e 2.50 GHz
My Far Cry 2 runs at low but not very manageable frames.

The 6150 SE is an ancient video card. That's the problem. I am surprised it runs at all
Well, your PC is quite frankly not cut out to play it. Far Cry 2 is actually one of the most intensive games of all time, and your GPU technically doesn't meet the system requirement.
