have you tried Veet? its similar to nair.. doesnt smell as bad or burn. Worked alot better for me and my sister who is darker complexed. she also tried this little 'sand paper thing' for lack of a better term by sally hansen. it worked for her but left a little dry skin. if you use a really good moisturizer afterwards like olay or ponds you should be fine.
Threading, I hear, works very well. It lasts longer and doesnt hurt as much. Its pretty cheap, too. You can get it done anywhere, really.
Waxing is also a really good choice. Its only a second of pain and the hair doesnt come back for weeks.
Plucking hurts just as much as waxing, but is also very effective.
You can get laser hair removal which is very expensive, but will keep the hair away for good. Same with electrolysis.
Bleaching your upper lip with Sally Hansen Bleaching Creme is probably your best bet in your situation. It painless and works great. Cheap, too!
I hope this helps my ex-wife used this after she developed the un-wanted facial hair, all she had to do was go to the doctor and ask for a prescription.
If you don't want to wax, shave, or pluck, try a cream.
Yes I'm a male, it's ok to take a lil advice from us now and then.
You could try laser hair removal, but see a dertomalogist before doing anything. I have excessive hair growth and I figured out I'm actually diabetic and that is what caused all of it. Not saying that's the problem, but just something to look into. And I now wax and shave. Just whatever works for her.
You could wax, it lasts a long time.Otherwise plucking might help over time I think they will eventually just stop growing just apply baby oil or vaseline so it might hurt less.
Either suck it up, and get waxed or shave which isn't the greatest option. Just go to a professional that does waxing. They can do it in a way so that it isn't as bad.
I use makeup mostly. It's one of those battles I choose not to fight that much. You'd be surprised how much we agonize over that no one else even notices. When I want to go all out I get it threaded which hurts much more than waxing but it lasts longer.
Try laser treatments after you give birth. Their expensive, but eventually the hair folicle will die and hair will not be able to grow in that area anymore.
plucking it really works.
they have that bleaching stuff..i think that would be really easy!!
