How to extract instrumental tracks from DVDs?
I've came across an awesome Youtube User's Channel called HopefulActress09 where she effectively creates perfect instrumental/karaoke tracks from Disney songs through the DVD. Unlike many people's attempts of "removing" audio by simply lowering the sound of the vocal line, but causing a low quality sound of the instrumentals, she seems to get rid of the vocal audio completely. I'm assuming this is possible due to the vocals being on a separate channel, as you are able to switch languages seamlessly on dvds, keeping all the background music the same.
I asked her how she did this a while ago, but to no response, so could someone here please let me know what program do you use to do this and how would you go about it? I have many many songs from movie musicals in mind that I would love having the instrumental to. All of this is non profit though. Could anyone please help? Thank you
Update:Oh, and here is an example of her work, she explained her process a little in the responses, but I have not found any more explanation by her in anything else.

^that's a wrong assumption. The different audio tracks on a DVD are the music already mixed with the different languages.
DVD makers go through great lengths to keep people from extracting audio. You could probably do it with a program like audacity or DVDshrink, though. Then separate out the frequencies and go through by hand removing the voices. That's probably what she did, and I got to admit, she's really good.

CC's "Infinite Misery" is a horrible instrumental music. Metallica - The Call of Ktulu, Orion, and To Live is To Die are all satisfactory, however "Orion" is the excellent one for me. In Flames - Man Made God Stevie Ray Vaughan - Lenny Yngwie Malmsteen - Brothers Steve Vai - Bad Horsie Alice In Chains - Whale & Wasp
