disadvantages of parliamentary democratic system-1- there is no discipline among the members of the house, both ruling and opposition.2-there is no impose of fine/ punishment for breaking discipline.3- questions to be discussed is at the sole discretion of the speaker/deputy speaker or minister parliamentary affairs 4- opposition role for constructive criticism to government are not rewarded.5- parliamentarians have the superiority complex of being a member, they ignore issues of most importance rather wasting the precious time of the house which run by public money.i am quoting the case of india the largest parliamentary democracy in the world.

Please don't forget that we have a Federal Republic Government not a Democratic Republican Government. Our Federal Republic, as designed, is GREAT, however sadly the liberal movement would like to "Change" that. The founders rejected the Kingdom because it's not Freedom. Parliament is a system where a group decides law, regardless of any liberty. U.S. Congress is getting more and more cocky, living way out of touch with the main stream, just look at the benefits they give themselves, yes I said "benefits they give themselves". They are definitely elitist. Just remember that the Constitution needs to be protected above all!!! The Constitution NEVER out dates it's self nor is it a living ever changing document as some would suggest, if it was we would have a "Mob Rule" situation where the popular majority can vote hardship on the few. Think about it "These truths are self evident" should not have to be explained! Individual FREEDOM is paramount, and none of the articles shall be distorted, twisted, or "revised" to inflict or force the ideas of one group to another. Government should be limited in it's involvement with the private sector.

I'll give you an answer.. The states use to live under the Articles of Confederation.. they found out that didn't work. so they switched to a FEDERAL REPUBLIC GOV.T due to the rights that weren't recieved under the British Alimentary!
