AVCHD videos can not be recognised by your Mac directly.
so you have to use a video converter to convert the AVCHD (MTS/M2TS/TOD/MOD)to some common formats like mp4,avi,mov,mpeg and ect.which be playable on your Mac.
i recommend Brorsoft HD Converter which can accomplish the conversion quite easily and fastly.
