Car Insurance Coverage?
My husband and I each have our own cars. We are covered by the same insurance company (multi care policy).
My car is a 1998 in excellent condition, however due to its age I dropped the collision. MY husband’s car is a 2011 with full coverage.
We were told by a friend (not the insurance compny) that if my husband is driving my car and involved in an auto accident that any repairs would be covered under his insurance policy since he has full coverage.

No, that is not correct. If you husband was involved in an accident in your vehicle it would be your coverage of the vehicle that would come into play. Insurance coverage is for a vehicle, not a person. His coverage for his vehicle is for that vehicle only, not yours.

No, that is completely incorrect. Insurance covers the vehicle and owner, not the driver.
If your car gets into an accident, your car's coverage applies. If his car gets into an accident, his coverage applies. Coverage can't be tranferred to another vehicle just because of who was driving when (if) an acident happens.
No, not if both cars are on the same policy. Collision coverage isn't transferable between vehicles. Sorry.
