do plecos eat blood worm?
i just bought a spotted pleco today, and the man at the pet store said that he fed it bloodworm.
do they normally eat blood worm? on the enternet iv'e only heard that they eat algea wafers (besides algea), and those sort of things.
should i give it blood worm and see if he/she eats it, or try something else?

My plec gets blood worn once a week
No, My pleco eats algae wafers and steamed veggies like zucchini, broccoli and green beans. They have to be cooked so they are soft enough for him to eat. They feed at Night because they are nocturnal.
my plecos have only eaten algea, and algea wafers. I've never heard of them eating any thing non-vegetarian.
