how do i save pictures from my webcam onto my computer?

i want to save my pictures onto my computer under a file, but my webcam program won't let me. how can i save them?

or are my pictures already being saved? if so, where could i find them?

    Not knowing what software you use i am guess they could be saved to your documents folder, but if you want to chnage your software i would try the link i have posted it is simple to use and free.

    I believe so. If its anything like Photobooth on a mac than if you go to where all the pictures are, click on the picture you want and there should be an icon or something that says save to, or export too. I'm basing this off of my experience with a webcam sort of thing.
